Evanopolis

Evanopolis is a multiplayer board game about property ownership and Bitcoin mining, developed in Godot.

About the Project

I joined the project at an early stage to work on multiplayer communication and UX design.

Tabletop

During the first months, I worked on Tabletop, an open-source foundation for Evanopolis’ multiplayer architecture.

The main goal was to establish reliable communication between multiple clients, with the first connected player acting as the host. We implemented this using Godot’s native RPC system, alongside a minimal UI for testing and iteration.

This prototype included a functional chat system that handled connection and disconnection events across clients.

Evanopolis UI Slice

The UI Slice represents the first full implementation of the game using the networking foundation built in Tabletop. It includes a 3D board, core gameplay systems, and a complete playable experience across local clients.

At this stage, I focused on UX design and interaction flows. I designed and documented all core player actions in Figma, including dice rolling, property purchasing, rent payments, and mortgage systems. These flows helped define the structure of the final gameplay experience.

I also contributed to refining camera behavior and overall user interaction within the 3D environment.
